Naturally our work requires us to use large quantities of timber sourced from around the world. We work with suppliers who are complying with strict environmental, social and economic standards at every stage of the supply chain.

We are captivated with the idea of marrying elegant design with sustainable production practices. Our calling is to build better furniture for a happier world and a healthier planet.
Our pieces are made from sustainable wood, and created in the UK. Each Tormar item is thoughtfully designed and crafted in small batches in our studio-workshop in Nottingham. We sell directly to you, the customer - no middle men, no long-distance shipping, no sitting on palettes, no out-sourcing. Ever.
